Luxury Design & Architecture
Every GYC residence is the product of a deliberate partnership — a conversation between the architects who shape its bones and the designers who bring its interiors to life. These are the studios we trust to build alongside us.
Interior Design
The designers who curate every material, surface, and moment inside a GYC home.
Anne Marie Barton
With over 30 years defining luxury interiors across Utah and beyond, Anne Marie Barton brings her signature organic-modern aesthetic to GYC's most distinguished residences. Currently designing Colony 329 at White Pine Canyon. Her portfolio includes projects at the St. Regis Deer Valley, White Pine Canyon, and Promontory — alongside private commissions for clients like Steve Young and Jim Nantz. Featured in Luxe, Mountain Living, and Traditional Home.

Kimberly Schmidt
Kimberly Schmidt brings over a decade of on-site construction experience to her full-service interior design practice. Currently designing both Painted Shores at Promontory and the Utah County Estate in Alpine. Based in Salt Lake City, KS Studio Design specializes in warm, modern aesthetics with natural materials and textures — creating spaces that speak to each client's identity. With an impressive portfolio of 25+ comprehensive projects spanning a wide range of scales and budgets, her work represents the finest in modern luxury design across Utah and beyond.
Architecture
The architects who draw the lines, shape the structure, and set every home in its landscape.
Aaron Inouye
Founded in 1997, Inouye Design has spent nearly three decades shaping luxury custom homes across the western United States — from lakeside retreats and oceanfront estates to mountain properties and desert residences. The firm's portfolio spans 1,500 to 50,000 square feet, each home tailored to its landscape and the lifestyle of its owner. Aaron Inouye pairs meticulous, site-responsive design with Revit BIM modeling, giving clients photorealistic visualization and virtual walkthroughs long before ground is broken. Currently partnering with GYC on The Unicorn, Painted Shores at Promontory, and Empire Pass at Upper Deer Valley.
Obicua
Obicua is an international architecture studio headquartered in Rome with offices in Milan and a growing presence in the American West. With more than 400 completed projects across 12 countries and fifteen years of practice, the firm's architecture division brings Italian heritage and site-responsive rigor to contemporary residential design. Their approach pairs a global design vocabulary with deep attention to landscape and place, and they work entirely in BIM to ensure architecture, interiors, and environment resolve as a single composition. Obicua is the architect of Terra Luna (Colony 329) at The Colony at White Pine Canyon with GYC.
